Description
Pura was conceived as a reinterpretation of the archetypal pagoda, a space of meditation that instills calm and inner harmony.
This shelving unit, with its essential and refined design, is entirely made of matte black Fenix, a material known for its elegance and durability. Between the various shelves, the insertion of water glass creates mesmerizing light effects, evoking the fluidity and serenity of the reflective pools often found around pagodas.
Prototype
In the prototyping phase, CDF is used for wooden parts, while plastic replaces glass for easier processing.
Components are precisely cut with a CNC machine, then refined through sanding and hand-finishing. Hardware, such as dowels and screws, is carefully installed to ensure structural integrity, leading to the final assembly of the piece.
